Will Smith vows to ditch his dad bod

Will Smith says he’s in “the worst shape of his life” and has vowed to transform his body with a new fitness program.

Will Smith is ready to lose his pandemic weight.

The Bad Boys For Life star – who on Monday said he’s “in the worst shape” of his life – is planning to get back in shape by joining a new fitness program.

“This is the body that carried me through an entire pandemic and countless days grazing thru the pantry,” the actor captioned an Instagram video of him wearing only boxer briefs set to Pussycat Dolls’ Don’t Cha.

“I love this body, but I wanna FEEL better. No more midnight muffins … this is it! Imma get in the BEST SHAPE OF MY LIFE!”

Smith, 52, concluded by sharing that he is teaming up with YouTube to “get my health and wellness back on track” and document his fitness journey.

Music star Diplo joked in the comments: “This is staged. Your gonna have abs in like three days.”

Actor John Boyega added a similar comment, writing, “If you don’t get your I Am Legend on! About to be ripped in three days!”

Meanwhile, bodybuilder Kai Greene appeared a bit more supportive of Smith’s goals.

“Not bad … a great base frame to work off of! The creator holds the vision and the idea in a matter of bringing it to life! Your thoughts become those very things,” he said.

Many applauded the Pursuit Of Happiness actor for his honesty, including YouTuber Casey Neistat, who wrote: “You’re a real one for this.”
