Hard border measures ‘will be supported’ by Australians

Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says there is no doubt the biggest issue for Australians going to an election is they do not want COVID-19 cases. This comes after the federal government barred any arrivals from India until at least May 15 due to the surging coronavirus cases. “You only need to look at the Queensland, WA, and Tasmania election results to see what people think. They agree with Scott Morrison on this,” Mr Clennell said. “Any hard border measures will be supported.”
